In the National Talent Search scholarship examination organized by the National Council of Education Research and Training, Parth Shimpi of Std. X (2015-2016) won the scholarship.

He will get a scholarship of Rs.1250 per month for XI and XII, Rs.2000 per month for undergraduation & postgraduation and the scholarship for Ph.D according to the UGC norms.

The Government of Maharashtra has congratulated the school and the Principal, and the Guardian Minister of Nashik will felicitate Parth on 15th August 2017.

The Management felicitated him with a cash prize and wished the commendable achiever a lot of success in life.

A session on Sex education and Puberty was organized for Grade VIII students at Fravashi Academy. The main focus of the session was on the physical and emotional changes that happen during the transition from Childhood to Adolescence and how to deal with these changes.

A leading Gynaecologist Dr. Vijaylaxmi Ganorkar and an obstetrician and Gynaecologist Dr. Ranjit Mehta took separate sessions for the girls and boys respectively. During these sessions the students were explained what exactly is Puberty and what are some common issues related to this stage and the ways to effectively deal with the same. Besides mentioning the physiological and biological changes that take place, the doctors also discussed the conflict and attraction towards the opposite gender that are distinct characteristics of this stage.

At the outset of the session, the students were asked to put in writing any query of concern which they were hesitant to speak about openly. Dr. Ganorkar and Dr. Ranjit Mehta addressed all these concerns and tried their best to answer their queries.

It was an informative session for kids.

Fravashi Academy’s team comprising Shrutika Lodha and Isha Sawant, both of Std. IX, qualified for the Finals of Technothlon which is a highly prestigious International School Championship conducted annually by IIT Guwahati students. Technothlon is an endeavor of the students of IIT Guwahati to provide school students a platform for realizing their potential.

The Prelims were held on 17th July which saw the eager participation of a whopping 457 Junior teams [Std. 9& 10] at various centres all over Nasik. The Prelims were held simultaneously in more than 250 cities across the country with a massive participation, unparalleled by any other such event conducted by a students’ organization in the country.
Our girls bagged the 22nd rank in the country and are the only Junior team from Nasik to have made it to the Finals, a highly commendable achievement.

The exciting battle for the top spot among 50 qualified teams took place over last weekend (1st to 4th September ) at IIT Guwahati. It was an inspiring and overwhelming exposure for our girls .

Fravashi family is extremely proud of Shrutika and Isha.

Teachers’ Day at Fravashi Academy was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm to honour and acknowledge the contribution made by the countless number of teachers in helping and moulding the career of lakhs of students and thereby shaping the destiny of India. The day began by paying homage to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan by the teaching and student fraternity.

The students welcomed and expressed their gratitude to the teachers by heartwarming messages. The head girl paid tribute to the great recipient of Bharat Ratna-Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan through her mesmerizing speech.

The performance of the students on stage exclusively for teachers was a memorable one. Dance, music and a skit made the day a truly gratifying experience.The teachers thoroughly enjoyed playing the game organised by the management.

As rightly said, ‘Teachers can change lives with just the right mix of chalk and challenge’. The Sports faculty members were felicitated for their outstanding contribution in developing the skill of the students in various individual and team events. The teachers who have added to their qualifications were honoured for their accomplishments.

Mr. Ratan Luth, Chairman of the R.S.Luth Education Trust, in his keynote, appreciated the teacher as “A beautiful human being - a pillar of support, an epitome of strength, a disciplinarian and a real role model”. Adding on he said, ‘That's precisely what a teacher is, for every student’. The Management and the heads of various sections extended their warm greetings to the entire staff and wished them “A very Happy Teachers’ Day.”


20th August was an exciting day for Fravashi students as they got the wonderful opportunity to visit K.K.Wagh Fine Arts College to enhance their Work Education experience. This field trip will go a long way in encouraging our aspiring artists as it proved to be an amazing exposure for them regarding various art forms.

The students were really impressed and motivated by the demonstrations and the dedication and enthusiasm of the budding artists, at the college who shared their knowledge and skills in painting, sculpture and designing. The knowledge of career opportunities in the ever accelerating designing industries of today, was enlightening and extremely useful for the students of Std. X.

15th August, 2016 - our 70th Independence Day saw the zealous and enthusiastic celebrations of the National Day on a beautiful sunny morning at Fravashi Academy.

Mr. Ratan Luth hoisted the National Flag in the pesence of Mrs. Sharvari Luth, trustees, heads of various sections, the students and parents, which was followed by the the Band Salute, National Anthem and the Flag Song.

In his address to the gathering, Mr. Ratan Luth congratulated the school team for being the 1st position winners of the Interschool Patriotic Group Dance Competition organized by the Bhartiya Ekatmata Samiti. Best wishes were also given to the students who have been shortlisted in the final round of the IIT (Guwahati) Technothlon Competition.

The gathering also paid homage by observing a minute's silence for the unfortunate people who lost their lives in the recent Mahad Bridge collapse tragedy.

The students were distributed with sweets at the end of the program. Each one left with a strong sense of patriotism and unity..

Indian citizens experience the pride in belonging to a culturally and independent country- My India—Your India—Our India--- with this patriotic fragrance and a feeling of love for our country and on account of the forthcoming 70th Independence Day, the Bhartiya Ekatmata Samiti, Nashik, organized an Interschool Patriotic Group Dance and Group Song competition on Friday, 12th August 2016 at Kalidas Kala Mandir.

The message of love and oneness for our nation was conveyed through the theme “HUM SAB SATH SATH HAI”.

All the 16 schools that actively participated, expressed their patriotism through their overwhelming performances wherein the participants of Fravashi Academy rocked the show as they bagged the 1st Position and were felicitated with a trophy, certificates and cash prize.

The Management of Fravashi Academy congratulated and felicitated all the participants and the teachers’ in-charge for their flawless efforts in bringing laurels to the school.


Today, when the greatest threat to our planet is the belief that ‘someone else will save it’, Captain Siddharth Chakravarty, from Sea Shepherd Global, strongly believes in ‘Let’s make a sea change’.

Captain Siddharth Chakravarty, an Ex-student of Fravashi Academy, has been riding the oceans for more than 15 years. Initially he was with the Merchant Navy but for the last 5 years he has been successfully tackling poaching and enforcing international conservation law to protect marine life.

The first ever Indian officer on the Steve Irwin, Siddharth is currently working on a project named ‘Enmesh’ which documents the work done in the field of marine conservation. He has headed various campaigns with the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS). He was invited to speak at the UN General Assembly in June 2015 during Ocean Symposium Week, where he spoke about the enormous problems of illegal fishing and the need for international co-operation to tackle it. As a TEDx speaker, he has attracted the attention of the international community towards the irreparable loss of marine life caused by illegal fishing and whaling.

Captain Siddharth motivated and inspired the senior students of Fravashi Academy & Fravashi International Academy, in the presence of some of the staff members of both the institutions. This eye opening session included an audio visual presentation on marine conservation and made everyone aware of Siddharth's jaw-dropping efforts in chasing whale poachers. He also interacted with the students and satisfied their inquisitive minds.

Having a compulsive urge to save marine life, Captain Siddharth concluded with a rhetorical question, ‘Are we truly that hungry?’
This event was graced by the members of the management who blessed their Ex-student for his future journey and earnestly prayed for his success as well as his safety.

Prahlad Acharya’s Spellbinding Shadow Show and ‘Campus Club Card’ Inauguration at Fravashi Academy

The students of Fravashi Academy were elated and mesmerized by the shadow show of Prahlad Acharya, a brilliant magician and shadow play artist, finalist of the sixth edition of India’s Got Talent.

Identified as the ‘Indian Houdini’, Prahlad Acharya is one of the few entertainers of the world who enchants the audience with his bare hands to create an unbelievable portrayal of stories in light and shade.

Mr. Ratan Luth, Chairman of the R.S. Luth Education Trust inaugurated the ‘Campus Club Card’ on 1st July 2016- an initiative of Lokmat Group at the same event in the presence of Mr. Naresh Gupta – Director Fortune Foods ltd, Mr. B.B. Chandak – Assistant Vice-President of the Lokmat Group along with representatives from Lokmat Group.

The Management and the students thanked Mr. Prahlad Acharya and wished the Lokmat Group for the success of the Campus Club Card.

With a belief that music has an important and a far greater role to play in education, life and culture, an instrumental music competition was organized at Fravashi Academy.

This event broadly aimed to be a platform for musical excellence, experiencing a wide range of music – making from very young junior groups to advanced players of senior groups. Students participated in large numbers and captivated the audience by their melodious performances in various groups of a variety of instruments like keyboard, Harmonium, Sitar, Flute, Guitar, Drum, Congo and Tabla.
The judges, Mr. Prashant Mahale and Mr. Samuel Thorat, justified their responsibility for the day and through their keynote, encouraged the students to develop their confidence and self-esteem through the attainment of instrumental skills.

Mst. Siddhant Sakare was honoured as the best keyboard player and won the 1st position in Group I, Sanika Joshi gave her melodious flute performance and bagged the 1st position in Group II and Anuj Jakhadi was felicitated as the best Tabla performer winning the 1st position in Group III.

Many budding musicians also achieved the 2nd position, 3rd position and consolation prizes.

The management and the heads of various sections congratulated the winners and wished them a lot of success and prosperity in all their future endeavours.

The Maharashtra State swimming organization, in association with Ahmednagar swimming organization, organized a state level swimming competition held at Wadia park, Ahmednagar.

The Aquatic Champions of Fravashi Academy won several positions and medals during the 43 rd JUNIOR and 33 rd SUB-JUNIOR State Aquatic Championship 2016. In this Competition Tanvi Deshmukh achieved a Gold medal in water polo, Aditi Patil grabbed 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medals, where as Aryan Pawar won 2 Gold medals. Vinayak Kuvar achieved 3 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medals and above all, an outstanding performance by Varad Kuvar proved his swimming skills and was felicitated with 7 Gold and 1 Bronze Medals and thus, Varad was honoured as the ‘’BEST SWIMMER’’ of the State level Aquatic Championship 2016.

This swimming competition was organized for various age groups. Fravashi Academy students brought laurels not only to our school, but also to our city – Nashik, as their valuable contribution brought honour to Nashik to earn the 1st position.

The Management and heads of various sections, congratulated the champions for their overwhelming achievement and wished them success in all their future endeavours.

All-rounders at Fravashi won accolades for themselves and the school in the Knowledge Hours G.K Olympiad by winning 5 Golds, 1 Silver and 11 Bronze Medals for the secondary section.

The co-ordinator was awarded the ‘Best Teachers’ Appreciation Trophy and a certificate for the year 2015-2016.
The Management, teachers and the students appreciated their effort and congratulated the winners.

The Pre-Primary Paradise of Fravashi Academy witnessed the 1st day for the nursery section on 6th June, 2016, where the tiny tots left the comfort zone of their homes and entered a new paradise ---- called school.

The Chairman Mr. Ratan Luth, The Vice Chairperson Mrs. Sharvari Luth and the heads of various sections visited the section to meet the parents and the tiny tots.

Mrs. Neha Meghrajani,the supervisor of the Pre-Primary section, addressed the gathering and familiarized the parents with the basic rules and regulations.

At the end of the day, the toddlers were given take away gifts which brought a smile on their faces.

Monday, 13th June, 2016 witnessed a new Student Council ushered in with Ms. Esha Mohnalkar as the Head Girl and Ms. Nisha Jagtap taking over as the Games Captain. Along with the team of Captains and Vice Captains the student Council took the pledge to execute their duties with sincerity and dedication for the year 2016-17.

The student council for the year 2016-17 were elected through a detailed procedure of nomination and selection by the management and teachers. The nomination was decided based on the academic performance, conduct of the ward and overall performance in the school.

The Head Girl shared her aspirations and promises for the forthcoming year.

An amazing start to the new academic session for both Fravashi Academy and Fravashi International Academy..

Fravashi Academy has been awarded as the Most Innovative School in Western India and Fravashi International Academy has been awarded as the Best Day Boarding and Boarding School in Western India by the Brands Academy, Delhi at a grand function held in Mumbai on June 5, 2016.

The awards were declared after an extensive & rigorous study by India's leading market research agencies by testing more than 200 shortlisted schools on parameters such as Infrastructure, Faculty, Placements, Strength of Students, Annual Growth, Boarding Life, Innovative Practices, Parent-Teacher-Child Association, Sports facilities,Students & Alumni Feedback, and Feedback from the Industry.

The most innovative concept apart from other factors based on which the award was given to Fravashi Academy is that it is the first school in India to celebrate November 14, as Secularism Day, every year.!

The awards were handed over to the Head Boy and Head Girl of the respective student councils in both the schools during special assemblies by the Chairman of R.S Luth Education Trust Mr. Ratan Luth. The Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Sharvari Luth, Trustees, Directors and Heads of various sections of both the schools were also present for the special assemblies. Mr. Luth humbly mentioned that both the awards belong to the students, parents & team members of the Fravashi Family for their focused vision, devotion, hard work and priceless support

The Fravashiites completed one more year of their successful journey of 100% results in Std. X ICSE & SSC & Std. XII HSC Board examinations 2015-16.

A special assembly was organized at Fravashi Academy on Tuesday, 7th June 2016, to felicitate the deserving rankers & subject toppers of all the three sections. The proud parents cherished the memorable moments which brought them tears of happiness.

The rankers of all the three sections, shared their overwhelming experiences and journey with the Fravashi Family & guided their juniors.

The topper of ICSE Std.X Board Examination, Mst.Shreyas Havaldar, who also made everyone proud by securing the 1st position in the Nasik Division, was honoured with a cheque of Rs.51,000/- by the Chairman,
Mr.Ratan Luth and Vice-Chairperson, Mrs. Sharvari Luth, for his remarkable achievement and as an encouragement for other students to achieve greater heights.

The commendation ceremony was adorned by an encouraging message by Mr. Ratan Luth who congratulated the young brand ambassadors of the school, for their splendid results.

Adding another feather to the cap by following the tradition of cent percent results, the students of Fravashi Academy have yet again made the school proud by achieving laurels in the ICSE board results 2015-16. Fravashi Academy has been witnessing this achievement of cent percent results for many consecutive years.

Mast. Shreyas Havaldar has achieved the top position by securing the highest score of 98.17 %. Ms. Bhakti Shimpi followed the path by acquiring 97 % and secured 2nd rank in the school. The 3rd rank was attained by Mast. Parth Shimpi who scored 96.83 %.

The Management and the entire team of Fravashi Academy congratulated the students for their exemplary performance and wished them good luck for their future.

A Trip to Kidzania

A trip was organized to Kidzania on Saturday 27th Feb, 2016 for the students of Std IV of Fravashi Academy .

Kidzania at Ghatkopar is a vast place which has more than 70 activities, where a child gets a chance to role play every activity as an adult. It was a earn and learn experience . The children enjoyed the various activities, which included Dental care, courier, Fashion, Radio Station, Banks, Pottery, etc.

The children enthusiastically performed these activities of their choice as there were minimal Do’s and Dont’s.

It was indeed a very enjoyable and knowledgeable trip for the students.


Fravashi Academy organizes Blood Donation Camp.

Fravashi Academy believes in inculcating values that mould students towards becoming civic responsible and sensitive members of the society. This is evident via the Blood Donation Camp organized every year on account of the birthday celebrations of the Chairman of the R.S. Luth Education Trust, Mr. Ratan Luth.

The Interact club of Fravashi Academy, thereby organized a blood donation camp in coordination with the Jankalyan Blood Bank. Like every year, enthusiastic donors participated in large numbers and made the event a thumping success!

Eager participants who were unable to donate owing to inadequate Hb count were educated on methods of improving their Hb levels. Mr. Vaibhav Ubale was felicitated on the occasion, on being the 1st donor for this event.

The Management of the school applauded the efforts of the volunteers and co-ordinations of the Interact club of Fravashi Academy for their directive efforts in making the event a successful one.


34th Annual Parents’ Day Of Fravashi Academy Primary Section

The 34th Annual Parents’ day of Fravashi Academy Primary section was held on Friday, 5th February 2016 with great enthusiasm and energy. Keeping in mind the need for self-discipline, the students performed on the theme - ‘Prevention is better than cure’.

The Chief Guests of the function were renowned gynaecologists Dr.Pradeep Pawar and his gracious wife Dr. Mrs. Suvarna Pawar.

The students joyfully performed as they depicted measures of preventing untoward incidents, through dances and renditions. Safe celebration of festivals, healthy eating habits, importance of exercise, protecting nature, rules of classroom and traffic were portrayed. Colourful costumes added to the beauty of the show.

Dr. Pradeep Pawar and Dr. Mrs. Suvarna Pawar gave away prizes to the achievers. Dr. Pradeep Pawar, in his speech congratulated the performers and also appreciated the efforts taken by the entire team of Primary section. He being a renowned Doctor mentioned about the harmful effects of electronic gadgets and also enlightened the audience with 3 mantras for a healthy lifestyle i.e. Diet, Meditation & Exercise.

The Chairman of R.S Luth Education trust, Mr. Ratan Luth also acknowledged the students, teachers for their hard work & parents for their continuous support.

The Vice-Chairperson- Mrs. Sharvari Luth, trustees, heads of various sections and a mesmerized audience, appreciated the children for their wonderful and thought provoking performances.
