Rules and Regulations

Admission and Withdrawal
  1. Pupils applying for admission are, as a rule, subjected to a competitive entrance test. Admission will be strictly on the merit of the candidate.
  2. A candidate who has previously not attended any recognized school shall produce an official Birth Certificate.
  3. A Candidate who has attended a recognized school will not be admitted without a Leaving Certificate from the school he/she last attended. In the case of the candidate coming from a school outside Maharashtra State, the Certificate must be countersigned by the local Education Officer, where the previous school is situated.
  4. If you belong to S.C., N.T., O.B.C., V.J.N.T., etc. please produce an attested photocopy of the child’s caste certificate, along with the original.
  5. No pupil less than five years of age is admitted to the First Standard. A corresponding scale of age is fixed for the successive standards.
  6. Notice of withdrawal should be given in writing on the prescribed form, available at the office. The exact date of withdrawal must be mentioned. After this date the child will stop coming to school.
  7. The leaving Certificate will be issued after all dues are paid.
  8. Fees will not be reimbursed once paid.
General Rules

Issue of certificates from the office will take at least a week after the written application has been submitted.

Uniform
  1. Pupils must wear the prescribed school uniform that is available in school. This includes the black sweater. Girls are allowed to wear the uniform trousers. Salwars/ tights and stockings are not allowed.
  2. Black shoes and only plain white socks are to be worn with the school uniform.
  3. White canvas shoes and only plain white socks are to be worn with the white uniform.
  4. Black rain shoes/gumboots may be worn during the rainy season.
  5. The school name badge must be worn daily to school.
  6. Girls may use black bands or clips to keep their hair tidy and off the face. Long hair must be plaited.
  7. Boys must have a short hair-cut. Sikh boys must use a black keski.
  8. Children are expected to be clean in their person, dress and habits.
  9. Jewellery, make-up, mehendi and mobiles are not be used. Children with mehendi application will be sent home.
  10. Electronic gadgets, mobiles are strictly prohibited from being brought into the campus.
  11. Students must be prepared to face consequences, if found breaking the school rules and are indisciplined.

Rules to be followed by parents when they are in the school campus.

  • Chewing of Gutka, Tobacco, Pan, smoking and Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
  • After the consumption of Alcohol, entry into the school campus is strictly prohibited.
  • Parents and their wards will have to abide by all the rules and regulations laid down by the school.
  • In case of emergency and you want your ward to be sent home, parents are requested to send a letter of authority stating the reason and the relationship between the child and the person departed to collect the child.
Out House Activity Record
  • Children’s achievements outside school are specially mentioned at the assembly.
  • If your child has won any prize in any competition or passed an examination outside school, it should be brought to the notice of the school authorities. This can be done by filling up the Activity Record form. Activity Record forms are available in the Library of Secondary Section / Office of Primary Section.
  • These forms along with the certificate/prize/medal/trophy should be submitted to the class teacher for Pre Primary & Primary Sections & to the librarian for the Secondary Section immediately. The medal/prize trophy must be labeled for identification. Please do not send cash / cheques.
  • Your child will get the honour of receiving it at the assembly. It is important that the forms are filled in completely by the Parents and signed by them, only then will the announcement be made at the assembly.
  • Certificate of Participation will not be announced.
Library
  • On Saturdays the library is open to Secondary Parents and Students from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Primary parents can avail of library books on 2nd and 4th Friday of every month between 01.00 to 02.00 p.m.
Secondary Section
  • Every week during the library period the pupils can take a book home for the week, in the next library period the book will have to be returned and another can be taken (Open Access System).
  • If the book is not returned within a week, subsequently the next book will not be issued, e.g. if the book is returned late by two weeks, for the next two weeks a book will not be issued to the defaulter.
  • If the student is absent on the library period day/ if it is a holiday, then the day he / she returns to school the library book should be returned during the recess only.
  • Books should not be damaged by scribbling or writing on them. If the book is in a bad condition, it should not be taken but should be brought to the notice of the librarian.
  • When the book is returned the pupil should make sure that it is cancelled on his/her library card.
  • If the book is lost or damaged, either the same book is to be replaced or twice the cost of the book will be charged. Make sure that a receipt is issued in case of payment.
  • When using the library for reference, personal story books or the books issued should not be brought into the library.
  • The students are expected to return their library books before both the vacations, i.e. Diwali and Summer vacation otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for the examinations.
