In the interschool ‘Best Out Of Waste’ Competition organized by Symbiosis Society, Chinmay Chaudhari of Std VI bagged the 3rd position.
From among forty schools that participated, Chinmay’s model house for nesting birds, made up of waste materials, made its way to the 3rd position. The idea of Chinmay helps in conserving environment and helps children become more responsible.
The Management and the staff has applauded and appreciated Chinmay’s efforts.
Students from the Jr. College of Fravashi Academy learnt the importance of command over language and presence of mind when Just – a – minute competition was held for them.
Participants spoke extempore on the topics that they chose.Mrs. Seema Reji and Mrs. Beena Ghosh judged the students and declared the winners. Ms. Jaanvi Pokar (XI - D) bagged the first prize, Mst. Bhavesh Pasricha (XII - C) stood second and Mst. Kaushik Raswalkar (XII – C) was third prize winner.
Managing Director (Acad.) Mrs. C. C. deRozario madam guided the students regarding the value of gaining knowledge and confidence and also appreciated the efforts of the participants.
Ms. Namrata Jagwani (XI – A) was the anchor of the show and Ms. Anam Tyrewalla (XI – A) proposed the vote of thanks.

The Quiz Masters Of Fravashi Academy
In the Australian National Chemistry Quiz 2015 organized by Royal Australian Chemical Institute, Parth Shimpi bagged the 1st position in slogan competition and was awarded a certificate, trophy and a watch. Whereas Anuj Lokhande was awarded a certificate of excellence, a trophy & a watch and Shreyas Sabnis was awarded a certificate of excellence and a trophy.
The Managing committee congratulated and felicitated the students and wished them good luck for their future endeavours.
Tiny tot from the Primary Section of Fravashi Academy, Mst Sumedha Kulkarni dazzled in the pool as he won the 2nd and 3rd position in the 25mts freestyle and back stroke styles at district level held at Satpur swimming tank & Bhosala Military School.
In the Inter-school Athletic Competition organized by the D.S.O, Bhagyesh Sakhala, Vachan Batavia, Ronak Lunkad and Aditi Patil represented Fravashi Academy and brought Laurels to the School. Bhagyesh Sakhala stood 1st in 100 meters and 200 meters run, Vachan Batavia stood 1st in 100 meters hurdles, Ronak Lunkad stood 3rd in the 400 meters and 800 meters run.
In the under 17 events Aditi Patil stood 2nd in the 3000 meters run and Siddhant Shinde bagged the 3rd position in the long Jump.In the 4X100 meters relay - Bhagyesh Sakhala, Vachan Batavia, Ronak Lunkad, Ashutosh Patare and Sudhanshu Deshmukh bagged the 2nd position.Bhagyesh, Vachan and Aditi have qualified for the Division Level Competition.
The Management, the Principal, the staff and the students congratulated the star athletes of the school and wished them success in all the upcoming events.
The traffic rules are known to all but despite it they are not being followed properly. On account of “Raising Day”, road safety week is being celebrated in Nasik.
The students of Fravashi Academy joined hands with Gangapur Police Station to create awareness on road safety among Nasikites. They were accompanied by the traffic police and were stationed at various traffic congested areas.
The offenders were corrected by the students and were presented a rose so that they don’t break the traffic rules.
The Managing committee of the R.S. Luth Education Trust encouraged the students to participate in large numbers to spread awareness on ‘Road Safety’.
FRAVASHI STUDENTS VISIT THE ARTILLERY CENTRE “EX SARVATRA PRAHAR”
With great zeal and enthusiasm, the students of Fravashi Academy & Fravashi International Academy got an opportunity to visit the Artillery center to witness ‘Ex Sarvatra Prahar’.
The programme began with the introduction of the Chief Guest - Lieutenant Colonel John George. The programme demonstrated all major gun machines – Bofors, Rockets and Missiles like the 120 mm Brandt mortar, 105 mm field guns, 155/45 mm Soltam E-1, Dhanush rocket, 122 grand BM-21, Pinaca rocket system, Smerch multiple rocket system and Brahmos missiles that were used during the Kargil war. Certain kinds of Radar like Lorros, ELM – 2140, ANT PQ- 37, SVL & TGT ACON were on grand display too.
The programme reached its pinnacle when the Chitaha & Chetak helicopters, famous for capturing videos of enemy camp sites demonstrated their might to an enthralled audience.
The children enjoyed the gallery walk where the weapons of the artillery center were displayed. The programme concluded with an over whelming applause for the noble work extended by the army family.
Fravashi Academy held its 28th Annual Sports Meet with great pomp and glitter on 23rd December, 2015. The students of standard IX stood Guard of honour to welcome the Chief Guest Brigadier Ajay Suri, Commandant of the Combat Army Aviation Training school. The four houses marched past in front of the Chief Guest Brigadier Suri in a formidable manner.
After the Chief Guest declared the Meet open, a colourful display of drills brightened the whole atmosphere. Races and mind blowing display of Gymnastics kept the audience glued to their seats.
In his address, Brigadier Suri congratulated the students on their splendid performance and commended their discipline and talent. He rightly mentioned in his speech about participation being more important than winning or losing. The meet ended with the prize distribution ceremony. Green house bagged the championship trophy, the shield for the march past & also the best house trophy in the inter house tournaments.
The Chairman of the R.S Luth Education Trust Mr. Ratan Luth in his address appreciated the efforts of all the participants, the teachers and thanked the parents for their overwhelming support.
The event was witnessed by all the members of the Management, the students and their parents and was a remarkable success.
The Fravashi Team celebrated the first day of the new year with the students of the Nashik Police Public School in a very unique manner. The students enjoyed and relished the delicious snacks during the breakfast party organised for them. The initiative of starting the year in this manner was to spread the message of secularism.. It was indeed a treat to see the smiling and happy faces of all the students of Nashik Police Public School !
The children who won prizes outside the school in various activities were felicitated in an assembly held in the Pre-Primary Paradise. Siya Wavre from the Nursery won the princess award in the ‘Fashion Show’ organized by Vinyasa Exhibition. Ranveer Gulati from LKG won prince award in the ‘Fashion Show’ organized by Vinyasa Exhibition and also won the 1st prize in modelling and Dance Workshop. The children were appreciated and were given a certificate and a token of appreciation by the Supervisor Mrs. Neha Meghrajani.
An Assembly was held in the Pre-Primary Paradise to felicitate the prize winners of the Fancy Dress Competition. The programme started with an enthusiastic mood and ended with a motivating speech of the Supervisor Mrs. Neha Meghrajani. She encouraged and appreciated all the children who took part in the Fancy Dress Competition.
The Pre-Primary Section of Fravashi Academy celebrated Blue Day to enhance the colour ‘Blue’ and make the children familiar with basic colours. The soft boards were decorated with blue cut-outs and children also took home an activity done by themselves as a token of appreciation. Children were all dressed in blue and they enjoyed the photograph session too.
An 'Inspirational Reading Day' was celebrated in the Pre-Primary Section of Fravashi Academy on 15th October as a remembrance of our late president Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s birthday. An assembly was held where the participants of Nursery, LKG and HKG demonstrated a systematic pattern of reading as introduced by teachers in the school. The Nursery section concentrated mainly on letters and their sounds. The LKG section read 3 letter words and sentences. The HKG concluded by reading blending words, sentences and then paragraphs. The supervisor Mrs. Neha Meghrajani explained to the children how important reading is in everyday life and that books should always be our best friend. The programme was enjoyed and it was a totally interactive session.
On a sanitizing note, the Fravashi Academy Interact club, celebrated the World Hand Hygiene Day on October 15th and proved that values are not restricted to the behavioral persona of a person but are to be coupled with a proper grooming to impact.
The 7-step hand wash demonstration conducted by the members of the Club educated the students on how the hygiene of the hands was the first step to a healthy well-being and cannot be neglected at any cost.
The Doctor- on- campus, Dr. Swapna Dubey, also highlighted how a casual approach to hands hygiene has impacted students’ health negatively.
The students, also understood the scientific prerogative behind hands and nails hygiene. The management, the staff and the students appreciated this resourceful initiative by the Interact Club and encouraged their enthusiasm that steered this event to a grand success.
"Fruit Salad Day" was celebrated in the Pre-Primary Section of Fravashi Academy. Children were shown different types of fruits like pulpy, juicy, citrus fruits, some with one or many seeds and were told about their importance in the daily diet. A live demonstration of making fruit salad was given by the teachers in the class. Children enjoyed the session and the delicious fruit salad too.
"Orange and lemon, sold for a penny" this popular song identifies with the yellow / orange day theme celebrated by the students and teachers of the Primary Section of Fravashi Academy. All dressed in vibrant yellow-orange attire and enjoyed the day. Students drew and coloured objects/pictures in these two vibrant colours and spoke about them.
Rewa Sonawane and Payal Netawate of std IV of the Primary Section of Fravashi Academy brought laurels as they won prizes in the All India level drawing competition held on World Plumbing Day. The girls sketched innovative posters and made the school proud.

On the 15th of September 2015 Hindi Elocution Competition was conducted in Fravashi Academy. The enthusiastic orators of Standard V to X gave vent to their literary prowess, views and expressions. Vivid poems, intense essays and thought provoking stories made the competition very interesting and challenging. The Judges Mrs. Kiran Kalra and Mrs. Anagha Kulkarni were very impressed by the performance of the students.The winners were felicitated by the Judges. The Management, the Principals and the staff congratulated the students on their excellent performance.
